1 week of work, yeah it took me that much 'cause I had to create assemlby blueprints since this baby is gonna be fabricated, so every single piece and component fits like a real product.
Creating this model was quite entertaining and sort of a challenge, I mean the Wild Karrde has a form but no a definite form, so there are lots of variations out there (comics, books, illustrations). What I did is mmm sort of a fusion of all those versions and came out with this. The trickiest part was the engine since there's basically no real references of it. Also many parts are without definition so at this point I used common sense on how a ship in the star wars universe most likely solve certain things, that meant I had to check the Incredible Cross Section Book to give me the idea. I did used the Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels which include the blueprints by Troy Vigil. I also checked Doug Chiang concept art and many other references, but as I said before, this refrences are quite limited, go type wild karrde on google and you'll see only a couple images that are helpful.
At some point I'm going to update this with a compillaton of photos.
------- Maybe this is the appearance of what this vessel looks like before it begins its long journey through the galaxy and be exposed to the hazards of the space. -------
I would definitely like to know your opinion.
Hope you dig
By the way this is a WIP, so don't grill me on some details.
